Vintage Brown Belt
A tale as old as time: when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade. When life gives you leather that's a little too sturdy for a vintage style guitar strap, you make belts, I guess? Either way, I bought this leather from a new supplier, and it’s a little thicc. So I decided to make the last brown casual belt that you'll ever need. Wear it every day and beat it up because it will only look better from here.
Here are the specs:
- 10oz USA cowhide
- Smells great
- Stainless steel roller buckle, which can be swapped out for your favorite rodeo buckle with a flat head screwdriver and 3 minutes of easy work
- Nickel-plated Chicago screws
- Beveled, dyed, burnished, and waxed edges
- True bypass
- Leather that ages like a nitro finish
- 1.25 inch or 1.5 inch width options
How to measure for a belt: Take a belt that you have and measure from where the leather folds at the base of the buckle to the most-used hole. Don't be alarmed if this number is larger than your pants size: That’s totally normal and you don't need a crash diet. You are doing great.
Don't have a belt to measure? The general rule of thumb is to add 2 inches to your pants size. If you wear a 36, order a 38 inch belt. The middle hole is the size of our belts, so you will have 3 inches of adjustment in both directions.
